Description: Tulsa, Oklahoma criminal defense lawyer Terry Weber represented the plaintiff charged with being part of a drug conspiracy with violation of 21 USC 846 and 841 (b)(1)(C).

As part of an effort on the part of the government to identify the participants involved in the importation of cocaine in Tulsa and surrounding communities, Defendant was listened on telephone conversations with a dealer arranging for a "bump" in conjunction with a social event. A warrant was obtained to search the Defendant's residence and to arrest him. No drugs or weapons were found in the house but a baggie with cocaine residue was found in Defendant's pickup, for which the Government did not have a search warrant.

Defense counsel requested a probably cause hearing on the charges being made by the government.

ICE has a hold on Mr. Hernandez, who has been working in the Tulsa area for six years. If the government does not issue a superseding indictment charging Piedra-Hernandez with illegal reentry, he will be deported to Durango, Mexico.
