Betty Miller, 70, formerly of Shelburne, Vermont, pled guilty on May 18, 2018 to a one count superseding information charging her with knowingly possessing Ricin in violation of 18 U.S.C. §175b(c). Miller’s plea came pursuant to a plea agreement filed by the parties which includes a binding sentencing recommendation of time served with a recommendation for a three year term of supervised release to include placement at a secure mental health treatment facility. The Hon. Christina Reiss deferred acceptance of the plea agreement until a pre-sentence report can be prepared. Sentencing in this matter is set for September 6, 2018.
