Membership in this practice- monitoring program of the AICPA has several requirements that must be fulfilled prior to becoming a member. These requirements are designed to provide a system of quality control among member firms and include requirements such as mandatory continuing education hours completed on an annual basis by all professional personnel and a peer review that is conducted at least once every three years to review the firm’s system of quality control and adherence to the quality control standards established by the AICPA.
