Dr. Rice’s primary expertise is in computational methods and computer simulation in mechanical engineering. Dr. Rice has been involved in the development and application of computational methods for a wide range of problems in engineering analysis and design. Dr. Rice was a founder of Compuflo, Inc and an original developer of the FLOTRAN software, which was widely used in industry for myriad fluid mechanics and heat transfer applications. Dr. Rice is the author of over 30 technical publications and has consulted for over 40 companies.
